I love everything about this place. The cappuccino i ordered is exquisite, croissant tastes like heaven. Love all their homemade menu. Staff is super nice, they deliver your order to your table like a proper restaurant, didn’t expect that from a cafe. Keep up the good job
Their souffle pancakes were amazing! The cream brulee pancakes went well with iced americano. Also I liked there were plenty of tables having much space compared to other cafes/brunch places. I will visit again and try other flavors. Update : I've tried several flavors and my favorites are cream brulee and brown cheese so far! The Brown cheese one comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream but I didn't need it coz it felt too sweet for me. Still I will definitely order again as a cheese lover.
After having to do a fasting appointment at LifeLabs next door, this place hit the spot for lunch! I had the garlic shrimp poke bowl and an iced americano. Enjoyed both tremendously. This place is a gem.
I’d just finished a blood test at LifeLabs and popped into Hiel Cafe in Burnaby to unwind. The staff were really friendly, coffee and breakfast were decent, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Parking’s tricky on weekdays with all the bustle, but nice and easy on weekends. The atmosphere was perfect, lovely and relaxed on a weekday morning, just right for a peaceful coffee post-bloodwork. A great little spot if you’re in the area!

Their souffle pancakes are really nice and the portion is definitely a full meal. It is quite eggy (as all souffle pancakes are) so it may not be everyone's cup of tea. The whipped cream and fruits were fresh, and over all the dish was very light. Cooking one takes a while (15-20 mins I believe), so be prepared to wait if you order the pancakes. Drinks were standard, not the best but not bad.
